January 2013 News: Check out the 'Articles' tab for a newly revised version of my lecture from 2009 at the SCSBOA
Directors Conference, about building your saxophone section. A few new sources of info, and new thoughts there!
I am writing several new articles for this tab dealing with topics that consistently come up in my teaching and clinics, so
stay tuned. Let me know if there are any topics you'd like me to cover. On February 10, I will be playing
with the great saxophone quartet, the Left Side Saxophone Alliance, at the Lesson Lab in Long Beach. This group features
charts by Jeff Driskill, who also plays in the group, along with Bob Sheppard and Katisse Buckingham. For info go to
